Attendance: 20 neighbors in total
5:30 – Pot Luck Dinner
5:45 – Opening - Tom McLeod opened the meeting with a blessing for the food.
5:47 – Richard Eckler questioned if people of all religions and faiths are invited to these meetings. The answer is that all neighbors are welcome.
5:50 - Introduction of all present (each shared favorite part of the Come Together.)
6:00 – Special Guest Kim Pryor - Candidate/City Council District 7 Lives in Springfield. Willing to fight for the needs of her constituents. Told stories of doing so and answered some questions.
6:20 - Minutes from the last meeting – JW moderated. Motion made to accept by Mary and seconded by James Eddie. All were in favor to accept the April 7 meeting minutes.
6:30 – Panama Park Come Together - June 4

Park Clean Up on June 4 at 9:00 AM – JW Lass will obtain the city equipment.

Volunteers signed up for jobs

Talk of sponsors and some volunteered to tell businesses

Menu for the event is Hamburgers, Veggie Burgers, Hot Dogs

The church the Lass family attends will have waters, and coolers at their tent.

Discussed start time being between 5 and 6 PM. With the movie starting at 8:30.
6:45 – New Business – Allison brought up the idea of having coffee with a cop and an assigned police officer known to the neighborhood. Kim Pryor spoke to that and encouraged us to attend our Sheriff’s Watch Meetings, each third Thursday at Carolina Apartments.
